Fields of expertise
Assoc. Prof. Pham Kim Ngoc, is a leading researcher in resistive switching memory devices. Over ten years ago, she and her group studied developed resistive switching memory technologies in Vietnam with various materials including inorganic thin films (TiO2, ZnO, WO3, CrOx), organic films (chitosan, graphene oxide) and hybrid organic–inorganic films (TiO2 nanotubes/particles – polyvinyl alcohol (PVA), RGO – chitosan, ZnO – PVA, Fe3O4 – PVA). The different advanced techniques of synthesis of nanomaterials, fabrication of electronic devices, and characterization of properties as well as physical – chemical mechanisms of devices have been studied thoroughly. She has successfully implemented many big projects related to memory devices for data storage applications (National Foundation for Science and Technology Development, NAFOSTED; Vietnam National University Ho Chi Minh City, VNU – HCM) in the role of PI (3) and scientific secretary (3). She published some papers in top-ranked Journals such as Journal of Science: Advanced Materials and Devices 2023, Journal of Physics D 2023, Ceramic International 2023, Organic Electronics 2021; Applied Surface Science 2020; Alloys and Compounds 2020 …
