During a acedamic trip to the International Workshop on Advanced Materials Science and Nanotechnology (IWAMSN 2024) in Da Nang, the research group led by Prof. Pham Kim Ngoc had the opportunity to visit Pyramid Vietnam Company, where they engaged in discussions and received sponsored equipment.

Founded in 1986 in Massachusetts, Pyramid Technical Consultants Inc. has been engaged in research and development across various fields, including medical research, semiconductors, physics, and biology. The company has been a pioneer in particle therapy since 2004, producing technological solutions to address complex challenges and advancing therapeutic methods, including Flash-proton therapy. Pyramid Technical brings together a diverse range of expertise, encompassing hardware, firmware, and software, thereby offering comprehensive solutions from design to manufacturing. Additionally, the company is involved in the research and development of measurement equipment, such as low-current measurement (in nA), magnetic field measurement (in Gauss and Tesla), pulse counting, and voltage control, providing particle-related solutions.
At IMM Lab, the in-memory comnputing group is currently working on a project focused on the fabrication of AI memristor chips. The design and implement of circuits connecting to the chips are crucial components of this endeavor. The team has received enthusiastic support from Pyramid, which includes equipment and control solutions. Furthermore, the company is eager to expand its support for the faculty with research and teaching equipment related to circuit design, semiconductor component measurement, and semiconductor technology in general.
Once again, the research team and the Faculty of Science and Technology sincerely thank Pyramid for its invaluable support. This collaboration marks an important step in building research initiatives rooted in Vietnamese intelligence.
