The Honor of LIMM in Welcoming International Professors

After attending the 5th International Conference on Advanced Magnetic Materials and Applications (ISAMMA 2024) in Quang Binh, many professors from many prestigious universities visited the University of Science, Vietnam National University-HCM. During this visit, LIMM was honoured to host these distinguished professors and engage in discussions regarding support and collaboration in memristor research.


Professor Chih Huang Lai

Professor Chih Huang Lai, Vice President of Semiconductor College and Chair Professor in the Department of Material Sciences & Engineering at National Tsing Hua University, has extensive experience in memory devices, particularly MRAM. He has kindly offered to assist the lab with the fabrication and research of high-density memristors.

Professor Ady Suwardi

Professor Ady Suwardi from the Department of Electronic Engineering at The Chinese University of Hong Kong provided information on the annual Summer Workshop for PhD students and discussed advanced material fabrication techniques applicable to thermo-electronic devices. He expressed willingness to participate in online teaching for the department, covering courses related to energy and semiconductors.

Professor Michitaka Ohtaki

Professor Michitaka Ohtaki from Kyushu University is a highly esteemed scientist in the field of thermoelectrics. Professor Ohtaki has provided significant support and close collaboration in this research area. Dr. Tran Quang Minh Nhat has continued to advance the development of thermoelectric materials based on metal oxides after completing his PhD program at Tohoku.
