Jun 22 – Aug 23 | Biotransformation Laboratory University of Science, VNU-HCM - Performed bacterial biochemical reactions. - Bacterial cultures: E. coli, S. aureus, P. aeruginosa, B. subtilis. Isolated the bacterium Acetobacter xylinum. - Performed antimicrobial assays: Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC), Minimum Bactericidal Concentration (MBC), agar well diffusion test, and disc diffusion test. - Qualitative and quantitative analysis of bioactive natural compounds: Alkaloids, phenolics, and flavonoids in Boehmeria nivea and Perilla frutescens. - Managed and maintained laboratory equipment: Centrifuge, vortex mixer, incubator shaker, steam distillation apparatus, rotary evaporator.
